The website requires entering complete address and delivery information before disclosing shipping costs.  FedEx is highest at $98.00 and DHL and TNT tie with $60.25.
So, a small quantity is indeed precious cargo.

CreationNepal - Nepali and Tibetan handicrafts is a website for ordering all kinds of Nepali and Tibetan handicrafts and materials.  I've never actually ordered from them, but I have an interest in Nettle Fiber.  Their website shows balls of yarn, thin yarn, fabric, and body scrubbers all made from Nettle, Hemp, and Bamboo.  Everything is sold in 100 gram or 1 kilo units, so I would have to do some serious figuring to know if these are "good" prices.  When I checked prices today, 1 kilo of thin nettle yarn would be $27.10 for the yarn and $36.71 for shipping to the US via DHL.
(An interesting side note:  UPS would be $51.69 and FedEx would be $44.55)
So, in a small quantity, the shipping is the deciding factor.
